Immediately apply for bail. Taking the merit of the case into account, getting bail should not be a difficulty.

Engage a local lawyer and apply for anticipatory bail

First get anticipatory bail. You have to come to a conclusion either to severe the marriage or to keep up the bond. Mere addiction to tobacco need not be a ground for severance. You have to analyse the facts intoto and come to a conclusion. Consult a local lawyer for defense if required.

Yes taking anticipatory bail will be the relief for the present and secure the evidence in your possession to contest the case in the later stage with the help of evidences stated.
