Foreign degree ll.m. is valid in india?

One of my brother-in-law has completed his LL.M degree in U.K. I would like to know that is it valid in India to enroll in the Bar Council of India?

Dear Mr. Hasanbasha,

I don't think that your brother-in-law who has done LL.M. might have asked you to put this query, as being a law graduate he is aware whether he will get enrolment or not. If you are doubting the claims of your brother-in-law and therefore wanting to cross check/verify from here, that is altogether another matter.

Even being a law graduate from any recognized university he can be enrolled.

i found the words .

..degree in law obtained from a university in the territory of india...

this make me doubt if a foreign law degree is allowed by Indian bar council for enrolment.
