I am an assistant teacher of a Govt. aided school in West Bengal. This year I was instructed by
the concern Government authority to enroll my name for the registration of Aadhar Card on
6/1/2014. As a consequence I failed to attend my duty in the school. Can I get the option of on-
duty leave for participating and helping the Government duty? Please inform me the rules that
will help me to avail the opportunity. Our Head Master is reluctant to provide the opportunity.

For enrolling your name in the Aadhar, the period of absence from duty will not be considered as on duty because it is your personal affair, you can tender a leave application for condoning your absence.
