One of the lady members in our society in Mumbai, Maharashtra has purchased a flat Before her marriage. The bills are issued in her maiden name. Now what is the correct procedure to change the society record in her After Marriage Name. If in future she wants to sell the flat what she should do?
Knowledgeable persons are requested to guide properly so that she can approach the society accordingly for the necessary change.

@Author, obtain an Affidavit from her that she got married with -------and now she is being called as ------ -----(husband' surname)and like wise obtain an affidavit from her husband that he got married with -----D/o----- and now she is being called as with his surname.
And in future she wants to transfer it, she can mention the both names i.e. her maiden name i.e. ----d/o----and w/o-----.

She need nit make any changes. The marriage certificate is enough to prove her change of surname if this issue arises while selling it.

Though not a necessity, however in need record can be changed on the basis of marriage certificate.

There is no need to change her name after her marriage. Even if she desires to sell the property at a later stage, she can sell it on her original name, there is no legal impediment on it. However, if she desires to change her name, she can make an application to the society that she would like to change her name in the society records and with satisfactory proof, the society can allow her to change the name as desired, but please remember that the title document cannot be changed with her new name.

Thanks. This means that when she wants to sell the flat she has to execute the sale agreement in her ORIGINAL NAME (before marriage) as a seller.I think this is clear for me.
