Conditions to compromise a case

Recently i have been a victiom of molestion in public. I have lodged a complaint against the man in the nearby police station and the procedure has moved to the court charging ipc 509 I would like to end up the case as soon as possible since i am appearing for the upsc exams.. what should i do to compromise the case..? The court procedures has just started..

There is no connection between your examination and your status as complainant of this case.
Molestation is a social menace and being a future public servant of this country you must pursue this case.

Yes, the complaint or the proceedings thereto will not have any legal impact on your appearing in the examination.

And what happens if the witness doesnot show up herself in the court..?? Am constantly trying to get connected to her.. bt there is no response. And I understand her reluctance in showing up herself in the court..
