dear sir our family friend have nominated me in all his bank fixed deposit account he has 2 account in same bank but in 2 different branches in one branch he nominated me as nominee and in other branch no nominee is register he was unmarried and no fimaly member is alive he left a will also but it is unregistered will in one branch locker, i have found a copy of that particular will in which he mentioned my name but the other branch in which i am not a nominee is asking me to bring succession certificate what should i do please suggest me.

If any deceased person has left behind any debts owed to him by debtors he nominates A SUCCESSOR WHO WHO WOULD COLLECT THE fds/DEBTS BY VIRTUE OF THE WILL LEFT BY THE DECEASED IN district COURT AND THE SUCCESSOR CAN COLLECT DEBTS AND SECURITIES OF THE DECEASED. FILE A PETITIO IN dISTRICT COURT FOR SUCESSION Certificate BY PRODUCING DETAILS OF OTHER BRANCH ACCOUNT AND YOUR NOMINATION BY THE DECEASED TO THAT ACCOUNT.

Apply for a Succession certificate for the other branch where you've been not nominated BY THE DECEASED FOR HIS DEBTS AND SECURITIES BY SHOWING THE NOMINation of other branch of the bank in District copurt and soon the District court would issue a succession certificate for other branch also where you've'n't been nominated. Armed with this new succession certificate for the other branch you go and collect the fixed deposits of the deceased in the other branch where you've'n't been nominated.
