There are chances the Wife could deny it on the grounds it was by Force etc.Even if the Marriage had taken place at Aryasamaj or mandir the Registration of it in Registrar Office would have more Legal binding.

Use the same marriage certificate, attach an application for registration, to get it registrd in sub registrar office. There is nominal fees pay and Under Hindu marriage act u will get marriage register certificate in one day also. It's little tough for people who r married under special marriage act. Try all the best.
