Contradictions in affidavits

My cross in Divorce (cruelty) filed by me is currently on. I also filed 125 and 498a earlier. During the cross the other side advocate is bringing up my affidavits for 125 and 498A complaint and pointing out the inconsistencies / contradictions. Also, he is pointing out to the allegations made in my chief but not present in my earlier affidavits and making an issue in most of the allegations.

Is this going to affect my case in a negative way?

My advocate keeps telling me since I am an woman and have filed all these cases the court will grant me divorce easily without paying much importance to these inconsistencies / contradictions. Is he right?

You have not mentioned any thing about children. If you have Child better go for an amicable compromise with the help of Senior Elders of the Family of both. and settle with your husband atleast for the sake of the child.

The Advocates would comply with their Responsibilities and they should not be blamed.

If at all you are very Particular about Divorce Pleasantly and Peacefully discuss with your husband in person with out involving advocates or any one and Convince him for Mutual Consent Divorce which could be completed in 6 month time or even prior to that as per Supreme Court's decision.

There is nothing that Women would get Divorce Easily and only interim maintenance could be ordered immediately on valid grounds.

Until and unless your husband is also interested in Divorce it is not going to be just easy.

Making contradictory statement on oath attract provision of perjury.
Don't think that opposite side will let you go so easily.
Application will be sooner moved by them for your prosecution for offence of perjury.
You think filling all those criminal compliants against him will go unpaid by him?
No he'll do his best to bring all sort of criminal proceeding against you and take revenge.
Your lawyer has already guided you wrongly and has put you in trouble so now suffer.

Of course it is the prerogative of opposite party lawyer to demolish your evidence using your own statement(s) to your disadvantage vis-a-vis his benefitteng client.
