I have a ration card with father as family head in chennai. Now I am settled with my family in Andhra for employment. What is the procedure to get the ration card transfered from tamilndu to andhra?

You will have to get your name deleted from your father's ration card by submitting an application at the civil supplies office of your area. On the basis of the deletion/surrender certificate, you will have to apply afresh at your new state. It is suggested to inquire the requisite eligibility/requirements at Andhra before getting your name deleted at TN.

Surrender your karnataka ration card to the civil supply authorities there and obtain a surrender certificate in favour of the Tamilnadu Authorities.

Apply for a new ration card from the tamilnadu authorities enclosing your surrender certificate from Karnataka.

i ve written the name of state wrongly. its..... correction is..... chennai...in place of karnataka
andhra pradesh.... in place of tamilnadu...
