Amount recd. on Compromise

There is a dispute on ownership of property, but later on the parties come to compromise and withdraw the case, what is the legal position of the amount paid, for the payer(Owner on records) as well as for the payee?

The terms of compromise will prevail. If nothing is mentioned in it then the situation that was before filing the suit will remain as it is.

We cant say but it depend upon the parties motive,thereafter they make terms and condition .so, it depend upon the compromise terms.The parties should not be under pressure .
