Division of property in two parts

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 14 January 2012 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
I want to divide my property in two parts. Ground Floor and Upper floor for the purpose of sale to two different persons. What will be the procedure for it. How much money will be spent for its registration.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 14 January 2012
No procedure is required for that.
You just need to mention in your sale deed the description of the respective floors. '
That will do.
Rajeev Kumar (Expert) 14 January 2012
Agree with Barman sir
Sushil Sharma (Expert) 14 January 2012
yes it is very simple as mentioned by Mr. barman
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 14 January 2012
Formal partition is not required in the given case from any court of law as naturally these two units are distinct and separate.

You may independently sale separate units to different persons as per your own terms and conditions.

It is between you and buyers to come to terms with respect to sale; none is in between.
