Contention of Principal is not tenable as per EFP &MP Act. Such silly arguments are not generally accepted in EPFO. Thye are also not bothered what UGC says. UGC has no role in provident fund matters. But since you are a teacher your will not complaint against institution. So keep on bearing injustice.

hello sir. as per the EPF & MP act, the epf shall be payable 12% of the Rs 6500 eventhough the salary is morethan Rs 6500. for this, u can approach, assistant commissioner of EPFO of your area. there is no question of Govt aoded or not. so every employee is eligible for epf. u can contact the asst commissioner.

Legally you are not entitled to demand the benefit of this scheme as you are exempted employee but if management accepts your demand, it shall be a bonanza for you.
