Contact your bank. Online transfer does have such proofs of transfer.

The procedure to make cash deposit in banks in any a/c is to fill a slip stating name and a/c number to gather with the branch of the a/c in duplicate and receiving the amount cashier signs the counter file of the slip puts seal of bank and date and then hands over the same to the depositor which serves the prove of deposit.Have lost it?
If yes!then request the bank to issue a duplicate certificate of deposit on the basis of entries and slip signed by you.

It is strange to listen that bank manager refused it.There would be the very slip you signed.I can not name the register but all transactions are entered item wise even if computerized, screen shot can be made available. Try with some one known to manager or try with divisional manager.

Dear Ram Sowrya,
You made two separate deposits through two deposit slips.
You have one deposit slip (probably counter foil) with you. The other counter foil appears to have been lost by you.
The bank is not obliged to give any certificate of deposit to you.
However, by gentle persuation, you can approach the Bank manager, tell him (in fact by showing the other deposit slip which you have in your possession) that in fact you made two deposits. One slip is available with you. The other has been lost. If he can make available the photocopy of the other deposit slip (which is available with them on record), it will be of great help to you. Since you made cash deposits, without counter foil it will be difficult for you to prove that you deposited the money. Therefore, you need the photocopy of their record only for that limited purpose.
This is the only way by which you can retrieve the situation.
In case the bank manager refuses to give even the photocopy, then you please issue a registered letter to the other party saying that you have made deposit of such and such amount(s) on ..... in his account No...... with .... branch of ...bank. Please verify and confirm.
