You may go by the suggestions made by expert Mala. What is transparent lawyer?

Mr T.K. by "Transparent" I was trying to mean that the Lawyer must be able to communicate the case status and steps taken in the case clearly to the client rather than brushing aside the client by saying "Leave the Law to the Lawyers, just sign a few documents, write a check and disappear until the case is over"

Directly you cannot appoint any Senior Advocate either you shall have to brief his Junior or through the Advocate-on-record. No Senior Advocate will nourish your case or follow up its status but he will plead the case only before the Judge. Other acts to be done by his Junior or Advocate-on-record.
You are being advised to find out an Advocate-on-record viz., a Solicitor or Attorney and suggest the name of a Senior Advocate of your choice to appoint him in your case. Be it noted that Senior Advocate means a Barrister.

There are plenty of lawyers of your choice in Chennai, you should look for one, do not expect a lawyer to certify another lawyer, that is not a good professional ethic. A lawyer can recommend a client to any other lawyer on the basis of his acquittance with him/her, but it is always the client who has to be vigilant about their case with their lawyer have a regular follow up him/her. You may find a lawyer from the LCI data base itself, try.

but I doubt whether Ad Arunagiri can act as law tutor. He can only plead the case.

Thank you learned brothers Mr.Shroff and Mr.Sudhir Kumar referring me.
Any advocate will take up the case, only when the client is having the trust on him.
No advocate will ask the client "Leave the Law to the Lawyers, just sign a few documents, write a check and disappear until the case is over".
I am of the opinion that she is having some bitter experience with some advocates.
