sir i want to call bank as a witness in recovery suit filed by me .i want to know about diet money for calling witness.my laywers is asking rs 2000 for this.

pls tell me amount of diet monet for summoning

It depends upon the place.
Further there is no compulsion for the witness to come for your sake. Suppose if he does not come on that day what will you do?
Therefore you have to take into account so many things in this issue. While on the face of it the amount seems to be little higher, yet there cannot be any straight jacket answer to your query. You have to assess the situation and decide yourself.

If the court issues summons to the witness then he will have no option but to attend as failure of the same may attract issuance of warrant of arrest.
