Hello
I am working in a Public sector bank and I am suffering from the odd posting given to me Gadag in karnataka. My husband is posted in Agartala. He is working in AG office as audit officer. I am posted here since 1 year.i have applied for spouse transfer but my bank has not considered.i am posted as branch manager for the first time living totally alone in this small district. Any how I am managing myself.please guide me if there is any way out for this problem of mine

Since you are working in bank and and your husband is govt. Employee couple case not applicable

You have no compelled rights to be posted near your husband wherever his deptt posts him. Either you apply for Agartala or let him apply for Karnataka

Being an officer in PS bank legally you are not entitled for any place of posting as per your choice.

You can request your posting as per transfer policy of the Bank.

However, personal request to concerned official may consider to adjust within norms.

Both of you may request respective employer to consider your case of posting on a common station, purely on sympathetic consideration, which is not a policy.
