Attending the dates

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 17 May 2010 This query is : Resolved
Hi,

My wife has filed a divorce case in lucknow in dec 2009 and same time she filed crpc 125 maintainence i have already attended my first date of maintainence case on 8th feb after that a date was fixed on 18th march for divorce case i could not attend the same and again the date was given on 21st may 2010

My question is

1) Both the cases can be linked with each other and 1 date is issued as my maintanance next date is in august 2010.

2) How many initial dates can be skipped.

Thanks and Regards

Dear Anonymous,
As a matter of fact there is no use in skipping the date and it depends upon the attitude of the presiding officer how he views this evasiveness.
Best Regards

Daksh

If filed in the same Court you can ask for both to be posted on same day in future.
If you are residing outside the jurisdiction of the court , you can ask for exemption from personal appearance and make your self available when court requires you say for examination etc.

You must bring the fact of pendancy of two cases between same parties in same court regarding similar issue, then court will make it on a same day
