Service agreement

Hi,

I was working for a MNC company and resigned a week ago. I was asked to sign a service agreement at the time of joining. The HR said it was only for 12 months. I just signed the agreement but did not fill the document fully because i was not aware how to fill it.

But after i resigned the company I came to know that the agreement was for 24 months and the HR has filled it instead of me.

Now I'm asked to pay the amount mentioned in the agreement to get my papers. How can i legally proceed to solve this?

Dear it is the usual practice which have become common for some uneducated and uncivilized Hr manager. Not only you but many young candidate are in trap in the same ways. Once you have signed the same you have to comply with the same. Henceforth read more than 10times before you write anything.

You can file a civil suit against the company and you can represent the matter to the Registrar of Companies and Labour Commissioner also.
