my question is that,would the ammendment in the hindu succession act of 2005 will not effect the daughters share in the property of mr dilip sharma, , R.Ramchandran ji,S.Subramaniam ji, Uma Parmeshwaran, my query is to you, but i request otherexperts to plz pay attention on the matter, waiting for reply........

The amendment would apply to the partitions that are effected after 24.12.2004. The succession that opened prior to this date will not fall under the purview of this amendment.

prior to amendment, the women had no right to ask for partition though they have right but after amendment, they can ask for partition, secondly in case the partition have taken place prior to amendment, they can not exercise this right, however, if partition has not taken place every women in the liner ascending has right in the property,
