Acquisition of land

Land acquired by Railways. But The Railway demolishes some of the building . Still some buildings are used by peoples are staying there. Is it partiality by the Railway?Is it possible to take action against their action ?

Once it is acquired it becomes the propertyt of the Railways. No action can be taken.

If the land is Acquired by the Govt for Railways - for temporary purposes - and the land is no more useful/Required to the Railways , on application by land owners , the said land may be re-transferred to Original owners from whom the land is acquired on condition of return of compensation with interest . However it depends on the Railways decision whether it is required no more or it is required in future .

it depends on the notification for what purpose the land was acquired and whether the owners have received the compensation. in case, the land was acquired for temporary requirement and owners have bot received compensation, they can apply for retransfer.
