RAVI KIRAN (Querist) 03 September 2011
sir we made a deal of selling land.for that we used a 100 rs bond paper. but the party failed to give the amount in given time..so i want to know does this bond paper have any value now
prabhakar singh (Expert) 03 September 2011
yes it does have, subject deed terms and proof as the cause of action to sue will arise only when agreements become due as enforceable.
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 03 September 2011
The stamp paper on which the agreement to sell has been entered into is valid till it is acted upon. If you feel that the other party has not adhered to the terms and conditions contained in the agreement to sell, then you have to serve a legal notice on the party to abide by the terms and to perform its part of the agreement within such and such date failing which it will be deemed that he is not interested in honouring the Agreement to Sell and therefore the Agreement Sell would no more be valid, and that you are free from selling the property to any third party.

well advised by experts.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 04 September 2011
Reminder!if this agreement was made in UP and is unregistered then it is void and not enforceable.

prabhakar singh (Expert) 04 September 2011
Even in those states where an agreement to sale is not compulsorily registrable, the agreement can doubtlessly be thought to have been executed on stamp of insufficient value
and can be impounded for imposing penalty .
Shastri J.K. (Expert) 04 September 2011
I agree with mr.ramachandran.
girish shringi (Expert) 04 September 2011
Even if it is not registered it can be considered as evidence in the court of Law.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 04 September 2011
I do agree with experts.
Chanchal Nag Chowdhury (Expert) 05 September 2011
As long as the purpose of the bond survives if there is no time frame.
Guest (Expert) 05 September 2011
THREE YEARS FROM DATE OF AGREEMENT PERFORMANCE
