If the property is in your name you can very well sell the same. What is your doubt?

Are you thinking whether the said property would in any way be treated as "ancestral property" since it has come to you from your grand father, and whether there will be any objection if you sell the property?

Unless your grand father had indicated in the Settlement Deed that the property should be treated by you as "ancestral property", the property is your personal property and you can sell the same without any objection from any body.

You are the absoulte owner of said property. You have full right to dispose of.
