Once you register your marriage you cannot cancel it instead you have to approach the competent court and apply for divorce.
Ghanshyam Prasad (Expert) 06 March 2012
Now only way is to file dv case on grounds mentioned in sec13a of H.M.Act.
Kirti Kar Tripathi (Expert) 06 March 2012
Once marriage solemnized either in accordance with personal law or under Special Marriage Act, it can be dissolved only by legal divorce through court.
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 06 March 2012
Except civil court no one has right to cancel the marraige, but it requires genuine grounds.
Advocate M.Bhadra (Expert) 06 March 2012
It may be cancelled from the order of the Court by a Decree of Divorce or Annulment of Marriage, but before one year you can not approach to the Court for divorce. If you want to early dissolved your marriage then you can file a suit for annulment of marriage for nullity ground being the marriage was not consummated.
R.K Nanda (Expert) 06 March 2012
No,now u can get divorce from court only.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 06 March 2012
Annulment petition can be filed even prior to one year but solid grounds must be inserted therein.
Shonee Kapoor (Expert) 07 March 2012
On what grounds you want to end the marriage?

No divorce petition lies within ONE Year of marriage, though annulment proceedings can be started if sufficient grounds are made in.
