Dear Sir,
My Daughters are file partition suit. This land my father’s self acquired property . Our lawyer told to me, you must pay mound to court. 7.5% assets value. My question
1. Purpose of mound?
2. It compulsory or not?
3. When required ?
4. Benefits of mound
5. It recoverable any way

Stamp duty is required to be paid in the State exchequer necessary for the development works. It is compulsory to be paid and is required in the given case when partition suit shall be filed. Its benefit is the enable you to file the suit and it cannot be recovered in the given case.
