IN ONE OF MY CLIENT CASE , HIGH COURT ORDERED ALLOTMENT OF PLOT SAY AT RS.2000/- , BUT IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY IS DEMANDING AFTER HIGH COURT ORDER RS.5000/- ON THE PRETEX THAT COST OF LAND HAD BEEN PUSHED UP. NO POSSESSION OR CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN GIVEN. PLS CITE CASES DEPICTING IMPLEMENTATION OF VALIDITY OF HIGH COURT ORDER IN CASE OF IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY.

high court order is binding on the authroity . if high court has specifically mentioned that plot be alloted at 2000 per metre and the authority demands higher rates it would be contempt of court

I endorse the views of Shri Ajay Sethi. But, please be sure, if the court orders contain the specific price of Rs.2000 per square metre for allotment of plot.

But, one thing is not understood. Topic of your question is about effective/valid date of the court order, while your question is about price of the plot, why so?
