Joint / associate members

(Querist) 12 November 2012 This query is : Resolved
For my personal experience on Housing Society Matters I wish to know if there is a provision of a Joint membership in a co-operative Society.
1)If "yes" than is it the same as an Associate member?
2) Does a Joint member have any added benefits as compared to an Associate member?

Joint member is a co-owner in the property whereas this situation is not attached with Assistant Member. Latter can be got appointed to represent even a member and it can be a substitute but this situation is not attached with Joint-member.
