What do you mean by approved? What is the purpose for DNA test?
Anyway, the test can be got conducted but it would have been better had you posted the relevant facts of your matter.

Yes DNA test will be accepted as an opinion....Please remember that you would be needing to get a Y-chromosome DNA test for establishing identity and this test alone can help u.....Please check the credentials of the DNA lab which u approach....Many DNA labs in private sector do not come to Court for defending reports.....Maybe a Court order will help u approach a Govt lab but not many Govt labs are doing Y-chromosome tests....

As informed earlier the only test is Y-DNA test and that is not totally conclusive unless ur father is alive alongwith your mother.....if anyone claims a conclusive test, u can go for it but legally it will fail..
