Submission of original certifiacte in a company

Respected sir/madam,
i have submitted my original certificates to a company and signed a 5 years bond. now, to take my certificates back company wants me to sign a 2 blank cheques, i m in a big confusion its been 2 years now i have joined and i m no were seeing my future good with this company ...plz suggest how to take my certificates back and is it legal to do this thing in india ...

If there is any penal clause to escape the service period then pay such amount and quit the company.

you have to check bond, which has been signed by you. It speaks answer of your all question.

Are you given already or going to give the cheque IF you signed the agreement then you have to follow . in that some alternative clause may be given, if then you pay the amount and with draw the original certificate.

Thanks for ur suggestions wht i came to know from my seniors is that the bond which i signed is a one sided bond ...it means nothing but to take my certificates back signing blank cheques can drag me to court where as the bond which i signed is useless
