Hi,
My sister's husband married to her without taking divorce from first wife..
we didn't know that he had a marriage earlier..
now that we all have got to know about this but we can't do anything because we don't have have any evidence
so i just want to ask is there any way that i can get his first marriage certificate ??
he had a court marriage with his first wife
please suggest

hire adetective agency . obtain proof of his earlier marriage . then contact a local lawyer .

First try to find the proof of first marriage anyhow and thereafter file a bigamy case u/s 494 and 495 of IPC

Obtain this information from the source of first marriage of your brother in law. whoever has provided you this information, he might e having the knowledge.

thanks to all for the quick reply
my sister herself saw his marriage certificate but the same time his husband took that away from her and hide it somewhere else out of home
now i only know the year of marriage and both couple's name in the certificate
she couldn't read except it
is there any way to get the copy of that certificate from this info only ??

Copy of the marriage certificate can be taken from court on the basis of available information. Some search has to be done.
