Regarding vat returns under karnataka vat?

My client has done mistake while filing karnata vat returns for the month of july-2012.He had two firms,while filing vat returns through online he has given turnover of one firm to another firm i.e,reverse in turnover of one firm to another firm.Now we cannot file reivsed return.since it has happened more than six monts.Please tell us how to solve this problem.

What was doing your client since last one year?

I doubt the department shall entertain the correction at such belated stage but your client has no other option but to make representation for effecting correction offline.
