My grand parents has passed away last year. there are 4 houses in name of my grandfather. one in which my father lives and rest three are rented out. all of them are in different cities of rajasthan. My father has two elder sisters both married and setteled.
Now I want to have all the property to be sorted out so that its clear how much we have .
Can you please advice legally what should be the part of my father and me and my sister and both of my buas ? Please advice.
Isaac Gabriel (Expert) 05 September 2013
It has to be shared by your father and his two sisters.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 05 September 2013
To be shared between your father and his sisters, better have amicable family settlement.
Nadeem Qureshi (Expert) 05 September 2013
Dear Querist
the property will be divided between your father & his sisters. you & your sister can claim in your father's share because this is ancestral property & you & your sister have equal right

You and your sister can't assert any claim over the property of your GF during the life of your father.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 05 September 2013
You have not mentioned about your grand-mother. If she is also alive then the property shall be distributed among 4 persons viz. your father, his two sisters and his mother in equal share.

Mr.Makkad saheb, the query starts with my grand parents passed away last year. I agree with the advice of Mr.Rajendra Goyal.
