Land acquisition act 2011

SIR,
IF A LAND IS ACQUIRED BY THE GOVT. UNDER LAND ACQUISITION ACT 1894 AND FULL COMPENSATION HAS NOT BEEN PAID AND THE SAID LAND IS ALSO NOT IN THEIR POSSESSION, IN THAT CASE DOES THE NEW LAND ACQUISITION AND REHABILITATION ACT 2011 REPLACE THE PRIOR LAND ACQUISITION ACT OF 1894.

if compensation has not been paid provisions of new act would be applicable .
