When the child attains the age of majority, it can claim a share out of his father's share in the ancestral property. The child is entitled to a share out of his father;s share during his minority itself, if the custodian or guardian wants to secure the same now itself, they can do so by filing a partition suit on behalf of the minor child in the event of any apprehension of alienation of the property by the vested interest party.
