Hello Experts,
Is home delivery of alcoholic beverages is illegal in India? I am trying to explore if I can set up an online store wherein people can place orders which I can fulfill by procuring the same from near by liquor store. By doing so I will be acting just as a delivery man. Please guide me.

Sale of intoxicating liquors is a state subject,and In India, manufacture, sale and/or consumption of alcohol is prohibited in the states of Gujarat, Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland as well as the union territory of Lakshadweep.On-Line sales will not be allowed as there would be restrictions on Timings of Delivery, Age of buyer etc

There are so many restrictions and guidelines by local authorities for liquor selling. Local state rules and guidelines have to be observed.
Any permission for such activity would be given is doubtful.
