resp members,
i am receiving vulgar emails from one email id, but i dont know who is that? i have received 5 such emails, how can i find who is that? and what can i do against such mails.
i have a doubt on one person but i am not sure. what i have to do? pls help and thanx a lot

File a complaint with the police. They will find out.

dear friend every computer has its unique IP address.
whenver a person logs into a computer for any purpose his identity is disclosed and is recorded at the server.
to locate the sender is hardly a 5 minutes job for any Telecommunication Company.
u give a complaint directly to the SP, a DSP rank officer will investigate the matter....and mind it the penalities are heavy and the offence is non-bailable.
the police will get the verification done from the server as well as from the operator.

and emails which i received is vulgar and not harrasement and its not continuous, some of them are few months back. in this case also will police take my complaint

EVERY STATE OPENED A CELL FOR THE CYBER CRIMES, IF U SAY UR STATE WE WILL GUIDE U ACCORDINGLY.
CATCHING ADDRESS OF EMAIL SENDER AND MOBILE PHONE TRACKING, ROAMING WITH A THEFT MOBILE IS VERY EASY TO POLICE ,BECAUSE THEY R PROVIDED WITH SUCH SOFTWARE/IT TOOLS.
