Property paper

(Querist) 20 January 2015 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sirs,

I have a site of 30x40 sft in panchayat limit, i had decided to sell it, and took advance of Rs.5,000 (without written document) from a buyer last week and gave him one set of the photocopy property documents. Buyer had told me that he will pay 25% of the value as advance within one week.

Now there is no response from him. Is there any problem to me.

Please advice.

Thanks & Regards
Keshava

If there is no written agreement against the buyer there is no problem. The photo copy will not make any bindings for an agreement of selling of your property.

It is only oral agreement to sell your site. Giving of site photo copy will not bind your oral agreement.

You are having advance of Rs.5,000/- on verbal promise. If the other party has any problem, let him approach you.
