My son gave me a US notarized GPA from california in 2010 to register a property in gurgaon which was bought jointly by him and me. Now with the help of the same GPA i wish to sell the property. Can I use it

Sir,
For presentation of the GPA in Indian registration offices, it should be authenticated in the manner prescribed under section 32 and 33 of the Registration Act, 1908.

If validity and no content of the GPA prevent such action from the agent, you can proceed. Consult local lawyer and get the GPA checked legally.

Just to go through the contents of the General Power of Attorney. if it provides open rights to act upon the property mean you can..

@author, if your son gave GPA notarized out of India, it should be validated as per Indian Stamp Act within three (3) months after receipt in India. If time is lapsed your son shall give another GPA notarized out of India.
