Hello,
I would like to know if a member can record the society AGM on camera/voice recording. Is it allowed as per society bye laws and what are procedures to be followed by the member?

there is no law to record the society AGM either in camera or voice . these are private affairs.
however should you choose to record the proceedings of society, then all members must be informed in writing that the meeting will be recorded using camera. if the members unanimously agree for such recording, then it is valid. or else it is a simple waste of time and will create an atmosphere of ill will and mistrust amongst the members.

It seems to be an academic query, as I suppose, it is not your personal problem.
However, for your information, there is no hard and fast rule, as normally byelaws are silent on this issue.
But, still, if you are a member of the society, it is better if you go through the byelaws of the society to find whether any such provision stands made in the byelaws or not.
So please check up the byelaws and only then come forward with complete desceription of the problem, if you have any in person.
