about compassionate job rules

Sir,
My brother-in-law worked in Bsnl. He died
Recently. Bsnl servants told me your brother-in-law get job through compassionate already. Now your sister will get compassionate job some critical. Please tell me sir. Compassionate job only once or not.
Please try to understand my English.

Generally there is no limit. However, it depends upon the rules regulating the compassionate appointments in the BSNL.

Dear Chinna Ji,

Compassionate Appointment is a humanitarian assistance by the Govt in case of sudden death of an employee. It is governed by detailed rules and procedures set by the employer.

In BSNL, point system is there for judging the eligibility of a relative of deceased for getting compassionate appointment.

As far as your case is concerned, I would advise you to visit the Office where your brother-in-law last worked and get the detailed idea about the matter.
