Time limit to release passport from court

Dear EXPERTS,
During criminal cyber case under IT act, My Passport is disposited with COURT.
Now my case is dropped and court passed order to release my passport after appeal period.
I need following clarification :
* what is appeal period in criminal case.
* when i will get my passport back from court.
* can i get passport released from court on urgent requirement before expiry of appeal period.
Kindly reply on urgent basis.

It appears that the court asked to submit passport while granting bail to you as its condition.
If that is you can apply for relaxation of the said condition in the same court and if it is disallowed then you can file revision in higher court.
The time limit for revision 3 months, not 6 months.

my case is dropped and i got order from court.now i need to get passport released..it is mentioned in order to be released after appeal period.
so what is appeal period.so i can get passport back. it is 6 or 3 month

Better wait till appeal time (90 days - excluding time between applying and getting copy of judgement). However, you can consult other lawyer after showing him the decision as to why your lawyer has advised for 6 months.
