Cheque bounce issue

My friend has borrowed 20000 from me and gave me a pdc cheque and told me to deposit after one month.
when i deposited the cheque it was bounce , when i have inquired from bank they are telling me that the drawer has requested the stop payment on cheque that's why it was bounced.

my friend has cheated me so please help me to recover my money.....

you may file a case under sec 138 of N i Act as well as under thee provisions of IPC also as stopping the payment of cheque amounts to fraud
