It is better that it shall be on a stamp paper of Rs.100/-.

As the company is engaging the services of an agency may be or may not be on retainership basis, it need not be on a stamp paper. Company's Letter head is sufficient. An acknowledgement has to be obtained from the so appointed agency on the second copy of the agreement expressing his consent for the terms.

However, there is no harm in entering into agreement on a stamp paper of value Rs. 1oo. Both could be produced in a court of law as evidence in case of a dispute.

It is better if agreement shall be made on a Rs.100 stamp paper.
