ni act.

(Querist) 11 March 2017 This query is : Resolved
Dear Experts
Let us know that is there any new amendments in NI act as some body is saying that
from the month of april 2017 accused has to deposite the amount to contest thr case
Thanq in advance.

This was last amendment

The Negotiable Instruments (Amendment) Act 2015

-----------------------------------------

After Demonetization various measures where announced and making NI act more strong was recommended .

In my personal opinion if they want to succeed for moving towards cashless society then they have no other option than to amend NI act further as there is wide scope of improvement .

If you have bounced the cheque keep funds ready , and if some one else have given cheque and it has bounced then don't live on false promises of politician and discussion of media (which is their own business) .

dear experts
my point is some where i read it that from april 2017on wards accused has to deposit some amount to contest the case.many a person filing the false cases u/s138 of ni act to harash and to have a wrongful gain having cheques from others for various reasons then it is a very difficult for the accused to prove their innocence.it is nothing but PENALTY FOR WITH OUT DOING WRONG.
any how thanq for your valuable response.

It would be better if the expert would have posted / contributed for the thread rather to go on posting just to satisfy his ego / irritation / frustration.

Forum would not gain anything from comments by experts on other experts / contributors.

In many threads expert used Mrs/Mr/Ms/Child before addressing me, please use Mr. before my name.

Any comments on experts by other experts is a good habit nor requirement of the thread to comment on others.
