Dear Sir / Madam,
I understand that as per Recent Changes in MCS Act, 1960 and Bye Laws of Cooperative Housing Society U/s: 73CB Co-option not allowed. But, Managing Committee Members are still allowing Co-opt Member to attend Managing Committee Meetings. What necessary steps / action can be taken about / against this issue ?

Dear Shri Raj Kumar Makkadji,
I am Managing Committee Member of CHS located at Pune, MH. One Co-opt Member even after making him aware of the fact that as per Section 73CB he is not allowed to attend the meeting. Still acting Chairman, Secretary and some of the other Committee Members are allowing him to attend hence violating the Act. Not only that he is signing on legal documents on behalf of Chairman & Secretary and these Office Bearers doesn't have objection. Recently that co-opt member also forced these office bearers to sign a Cheque of Rs. 80,000 /- to a Civil Contractor. It is not at all acceptable ? What action can be taken against this issue ?
Awaiting Response.
Best Regards,
