Hi All
I have applied for PNB met life ulip policy in the month of Aug 2016.while filling the application I have provided a cheque for first instilment premium.The premium amount was deducted from my account but I haven't received policy or premium receipt till last month. The PNB met life team saying we sent the policy document on 19.08.2016
and it is returned back due to invalid address.I haven't receive any mail communication ,phone call or SMS before or after sending the policy document .They are not showing the proof of mail communication.In the month of Jan 2017 I spoked with respective customer care team as well as employee(who took the application) of PNB Metlife ,They said there is no policy document on my name.All of sudden I'm getting second installment premium due date SMS and second installment premium automatically deducted from my account from my bank account before crossing the due date.
I have all the proof for call details .My concern is due lack policy premium details in the financial year 2016-2017 I have paid more money as income tax because I'm able to show only 90K under 80C.Now I'm not happy to continue with this policy because of above reason and I want my money back which I was paid as an extra amount in the income tax and total paid premium amount without tax and want to close this policy

Issue legal notice through a local prudent lawyer followed by filing:
(i) complaint before President District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum and/or
(ii) Suit before Civil Judge for issuance of mandatory injunction and/or
(iii) writ of mandamus before High Court.
