Dear all, my name is Ramesh. We received a decree in 2006. And we field a execution petion in the same year, but till date the decree is not executed. Recently the civil judge appointed a commissioner and commission was completed in April 2018. Weather the defendant has a right to appeal to high court. If appeal what is the time periodperiod, and what will we do.

Decree passed in 2006 could have been appealed within stipulated period.
Why execution could not be completed for the last about 13 years?
Did you ask this question from your lawyer who has successfully managed decree and filed execution?

The facts, as posted, lacks clarity? What is the nature of the decree? Why the Commissioner has been appointed? Why the proposed appeal?

This case is for equal sharing of property between the nature born of 2 sisters and one brother, the decree passed in favour of sisters. The other party not appeal to the court after degree passed but the petitioner's are approached for execution of the propertyproperty.
