ONE OF MY CLIENT WHO MERRIED 2 YEARS BACK HAS RECEIVED ONE NOTICE FROM CAW CELL COMPLAINED OF DOWERY FILED BY HIS WIFE IN THE FOLLOWING RELATIVES :-
1) IN THE NAME OF HUSBAND
2) HIS MOTHER AND FATHER
3) HIS SISTER AND BROTHER IN LAW
MY CLIENT HAS RECEIVED ONLE LIST ASKING THAT HOW MANY ITEMS THEY HAVE TAKEN FROM THE IN LAWS OF THE WIFE OF MY CLIENT.
WHAT MY CLIENT SHOULD DO NOW.

seek anticipatory bail the court will grant u 7 days notice prior to arrest.

Dont make hasty decisions. It is better to appear in that Cell on the date of hearing and try to make compromise with that lady and if not succed in one sitting try for another and when at last conclusion is arrived that the FIR has been filed only then seek anticipatory bail but not all accused at one time. Fist seek AB for sister and brother-in-law of your friend then his parents and at last of him if he hopes favourable results in AB matter,

First of all attend the CAW cell proceedings and find out the allegations. Try to find out whether the wife has filed any documents to prove that she has given dowry for the marriage.
