I have put 25th august instead of 25th october on the bottom of affidavit along with appeal filed on 27th october. Will this be a problem ? Should it be corrected and if yes how should it be corrected?

Mentioning the wrong date on the bottom is not a big mistake, it wiil be treated as typing mistake. You can make it correct by putting the correct date and sherestedar of the court will make a correction mark and he will sign.

Any affidavit has to be sworn before a notary or the oath commissioner. The notary or the oath commissioner would affix the date on which it is presented to him. Small errors would not matter.

Though it not a material defect and liable to be ignored but since it in affidavit, it can not be corrected or amended. you can file a new affidavit narrating the same facts with new date.
