I paid Payment against HDFC credit card settlement, I paid money against settlement , 2 installments I paid lately, however that time banker accepted & they said they can adjust 2-3 installments. After final installment they said you will get closing latter within 7 days. however not. I called bank customer service many times,every time they said they dont hv data available or server down & someone will call u back. not recd any call. after 3 months they started calling & harassing again n again. as u have to pay all amount again or u need to resatle account. My condition is very bad. Please advice what to do ?

You issue legal notice to the bank and also inform them regarding you would lodge a complaint against the unwanted calls. If possible record all the calls.

Do you have any evidence about the settlement of your credit card dues? You should also have the evidence for payments. If the payments are covered for the settlement amount, you write back to Bank stating that you have paid the dues as per settlement and there are no dues to be the Bank. You enclose all the evidence to the letter and state that if they still harass you may go to consumer court claiming damages.

Yes, if you have sufficient evidence to show deficiency on the part of banker ,you approach to the consumer forum to get a relief.First give notice then go to consumer court.
