Can a company formed under Indian Companies act, 1956 can be treated as an 'Agriculturist' if one of the clause in Memorandum of said company is for Agricultural activities?

your idea is appreciable!!!!!! But mere inclusion 'Agriculturist' can't be treated as an agriculturist.

you just tell us the activity desired then we can tell if the same is legally viable or not.

My client company has purchased agri. lands in Maharashtra. At the time of purchase they had satisfied the Sub-Registrar showing the memorandum, etc.I have a doubt in my mind that only on the basis of incorporating some objects in Memo. a company claim itself to be 'Agriculturist'. If is not so then they should have obtained permission prior to purchase as they have not done so the whole transaction may be held as illegal. This is confusion in my mind.
